The First Day... "Stay Strong. Trust God. Love Yourself."

Today is the Day...


The start of my 12 week transformation.

I woke up at 8:45AM and had breakfast. This consisted of a cup of lowfat yogurt and a medium banana and two glasses of water. After breakfast I watched an episode of Made about Powerlifting and hung out with my girls (Abbie and Grace). I then had a snack at 10:50Am of a cliff bar. This bar has 10 grams of protein, which is important in my diet. After my snack I worked out. WOW! I am so out of shape. I completed 35 mins of cardio and did a lot of stretching. My work out did go by fast though because I watched a sermon called "planted" from livechurch.tv. Which was fantastic... Let me just say that God is Amazing. For this journey I have come up with a montra to help me continue on this journey..."Stay Strong. Trust God. Love Yourself."


Tomorrow I plan to do cardio for 20 mins followed by my first upper body lifting set. Wish me luck! I am super nervous about being overly sore but then again if I am I will know I am working hard.


For lunch today I had a cup of whole wheat pasta and a cup of veggies. With two more glasses of water plus what I drank during my work out. Staying hydrated is also a key aspect. Tomorrow I am going to pueblo to get my hairs did lol and to pick up some food for my diet. Today I have been scrounging around for healthy food but have done fairly well in the mad search. Yeah. I definitely should have been more prepared... I am excited to shop for some of the whole/ fresh foods. I already feel I have a lot more energy and less stress.
